Rich Waterman, CPA

Rich, the owner of the firm, graduated from UCLA in 1983 and, in addition, has a Master's Degree in Accounting from San Jose State University. He has broad business, accounting and finance experience. His tax expertise includes partnerships, small business formations, registered domestic partnerships, and trust and estate planning.

Rich served two four year terms on the Campbell City Council and served one year as its Mayor in 2014. He has also been vice-chairperson on the City of Campbell Parks and Recreation Commission, was a board member for the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, and was an appointed member of the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel where he served as chairman of the forms and publications committee.

Rich lives with his partner of thirty six years, Bruce; puppies named Axel and Beau; and a parrot named Max.    He enjoys snowboarding, wine tasting, traveling and cooking.

Ashley Williams, Executive Assistant & Preparer

Born and raised in Castro Valley, Ashley brings a unique perspective to accounting, rooted in both numbers and people. As a Master of Science in Accounting student at the University of San Francisco and a future CPA, her path has taken her from public health to a San Francisco mayoral campaign, to a global health law firm, where she gained hands-on experience in finance, grant writing, and legal consulting. That journey has given her a genuine appreciation for how much finances matter to individuals, small businesses, and communities alike. When she is not crunching numbers, you'll find Ashley snowboarding, playing word games, or spending time with her partner Brandon and their three pets.

Bruce Scholes, Bookkeeper

Bruce is our QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified bookkeeper. He has a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping experience, and has performed accounting operations at iBizLogic, Cypress Semiconductor and Western Medical Center. His expertise includes bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
